TxDOT Pharr District Contract No. 21-245P5001 – W.A. 6 – Military Hwy Toll Road from Spur 600 to Hidalgo/Cameron County Line. The scope of work includes recovering GPS horizontal and vertical position, and process GPS data. Cost: $311,915.00 – Client: Arcadis – Ref: Daniel Copps, P.E. – Ph: 281-497-6900 – Fax: 281-496-2936 – Email: Dcopps@arcadis-us.com. TxDOT Pharr Contract No. 21-945P5002 – US 83 from East of LaJoya to Starr County Line. The scope of work includes recovering GPS horizontal and vertical position, and process GPS data. TxDOT Pharr District Contract No. 21-045P5033: US 77 in Willacy County. Construction and design surveys for bridge design of five overpass structures. Horizontal/vertical control for photogrammetry, right-of-way mapping, field surveying and photogrammetry for three phases design survey, control map and stake centerline. TxDOT Laredo District Contract No. 22-745P5006: FM 3464 @ IH 35 upgrade to proposed Northwest International Bridge. Establish hor/ver control and maintain panel points for aerial photography, right-of-way mapping, field surveying and photogrammetry for three phases design survey, control map and stake centerline. TxDOT Yoakum/Corpus Christi District Contract No. 13-745P5004: SH 35 @ SH 185 G.P.S. hor/ver control, aerial photography, planimetric mapping and field surveying. Prepare DTM. TxDOT Pharr District Contract No. 21-9XXP1004: FM 491 from US 83 to Bus 83. Bus 83 from FM 1015 to SP 31. Fm 491 to Cameron County Line; and Hidalgo County Line to FM 800. Establish vertical and horizontal ground control, set panels, topographic survey for FM 491 as part of the development of planimetric DGN and DTM. RODS was contracted by the City of Houston to install 7 Cooperative Continuously Operating GPS Reference Station (CORS) to provide services that will be needed in connection with Phase I, the Upgrade and Expansion of the City of Houston Monumentation System Contract No. 54537. The objective of this project was to replace the existing City of Houston Monument System with a modern control system based on GPS. The existing City Monumentation System had not been maintained or updated in many years and was not suitable for the future needs of the area. Mr. Babcock was responsible for planning, purchasing, installation, and
quality assurance for this project. Our responsibilities also involved
coordination with the National Geodectic Survey (NGS) to assure these
CORS Stations would be included in the National Network of CORS Stations
around the country. RODS also was responsible for the surveys required
to establish Orthometric Heights for these CORS Stations. The internet
